One of the most iconic spaces in Hotel Cala Fornells is the round lounge.![]()

When the hotel opened in 1947, it had only two rooms built around this circular room, which quickly became the heart of the house.![]()

Over the decades, countless conversations, evenings and memories have taken place here.![]()

This space remains exactly where it has always been.![]()

Last season many of you could notice that one of the two old pines on our terrace had died.![]()
It had been there for decades, growing with us, at least from 1947, watching over the bay and becoming part of the view so many of you remember.![]()

This winter we planted a new one in its place.![]()
![]()
For now it’s still small — but just like the one before it, it will grow here facing the sea, season after season.![]()

We’ve been open for a month already, and our guests have been enjoying the best of Cala Fornells — quiet mornings by the sea, long lunches on the terrace and quite afternoons over the bay.![]()
